Vintage elegance – Reception ideas

There are so many options and designs to choose from for venue flowers and the decision can be very hard to make! I am going to outline the most popular options for the Vintage, rustic wedding style to give you some ideas. They can all be tweaked and adapted to suit any colour scheme and style.

Firstly the collection look; – This is the most popular look to give that really rustic vintage look to your tables. Displayed on a thin wood slice we fill various jars and small vases with vintage styled flowers to give a soft and pretty look on the table, you can also add tea lights or even larger candles to add a romantic feel as the evening draws in. A variation of vases, jugs and jars on the wood slice looks lovely and adds to the informal look of this design, also a fun activity to get all the family involved in, in the months leading up to your wedding if you want to provide the vases and jars yourselves!

Another fabulous option which looks lovely on your tables in a rustic vintage look is a really nice tied display of the wedding flowers to echo the bridal bouquets and is displayed in a round globe vase, this can then be stood on a round thin wood slice or a round mirror.

Candles are a lovely option to have on the tables for a wedding especially for later on in the day when the light is lost, they give a romantic feel to the room. There are many ways to incorporate candles on a table such as tea lights in votives but another lovely way we use a lot is a chunky church candle in a glass hurricane vase or birdcage/lanturn surrounded by a ring of the wedding flowers and foliages.

There is an endless amount of other ideas for tables in a rustic and vintage look, why not give us a ring or send us an email with your style, colours and any ideas you have so we can design your bespoke table arrangements!
